Every year, the OIP’s Free Travel Passport Program provides up to 50 passports to qualified HT students at no cost.
To apply for a free passport, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
• You must be a U.S. citizen
• You must be a current, degree-seeking HT undergraduate student
• You must be a first-time passport applicant
• You cannot be a senior
If you meet all of those requirements, then bring the following documents to OIP:
• Completed, unsigned U.S. Passport Application
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship
• Proof of Identity
• A recent color photograph
