Admission Requirements
- International Student Application
You may apply online or request a hard copy of the application. - Submit verification of financial support
- Letter from your family or sponsor stating that they will pay your college expenses
- A copy of al bank statement (s) or a signed letter from a bank officer dated within the past six months verifying that your sponsor has at least $23,000in U.S. funds.
- Academic Records
All official transcripts of non-U.S. high schools and colleges/universities attended must be evaluated by an official U.S. Credential Evaluation Service. EXAMPLE: Foreign Credentials Services of America (FCSA), World Education Services (WES).
In the United States, the academic record is called a “transcript.” In other countries, these documents may be called by another name — such as a leaving certificate, maturity certificate, bachillerato or baccalauréat.
- 4. English Proficiency Requirement
If English is not your native language, you will be required to provide proof of your English proficiency. The University uses the TOEFL and IELTS tests to measure your English proficiency.
At the undergraduate or baccalaureate level, a score of 61 on the internet (TOEFL iBT) version is required. A score of 5.5 is required for the IELTS test.
- Passport Copy
A copy of the identification page (photo page) of your passport is needed as proof of your identity. The university will need your passport information in order to issue you a Form I-20. - Personal Essay
Write a one page essay (in English) about something that impacted your life. This essay will allow the Admissions Team to learn more about you.
